Dutch Minister of Health, Welfare and Sport, Hugo de Jonge, said efforts should be intensified in the Netherlands to handle the file of migrants and asylum seekers.
The minister called on the government to hold an annual debate about migration pace so as to ensure that population growth keeps going in the country.
He added that the Netherlands might follow the policy pursued by the government of Canada in controlling the number of newcomers.
