Palestinian refugee Omar Ya’kob Hijazi, born in 1975, has been secretly held in Syrian government detention centers for six years running.
Hijazi, a resident of Yarmouk Camp, was arrested by the government forces on the Syrian-Lebanese borders on May 1, 2014. His fate remains unknown.
AGPS has been deeply concerned about the upsurge in the number of Palestinian victims of torture and enforced disappearance in Syria.
