The residents of Jaramana camp for Palestinian refugees are still suffering of the increased economic burdens which manifested in the high cost of rent houses and the high demand on those houses that prompted the residents to live under severe circumstances and high rate of unemployment. The suffering came in the time of the decrease of the aid presented by the charity organizations which don’t cover their minimum costs of live.
The residents complain of the unavailability some of the infrastructure services specially sewage, where they earlier appealed the service providers inside the camp to solve the sewage problems that increased and prevented the residents to move freely.
They also suffer of the continuation of power and water cut all over the camp for long periods in addition to that the camp witnesses a huge crowdedness due to the displacement from the Palestinian camps in Damascus specially Yarmouk camp , Al Husaeneyya and Al Sbeina camps after the latest ongoing conflicts.
