Appeals to Release the Activist Jamal Hamad after 43 Days of Detention in the Syrian Prisons.

Number of activists appealed all Palestinian institutions and organizations to work for the release of the PRC official, Jamal Hamad, and all the detainees who are not involved into the ongoing conflict in Syria. Mr. Hamad tried to leave Yarmouk after ISIS breaking into the camp, and was arrested by a Syrian Security branch at the Camp's checkpoint. He is still detained for 43 days; his fate and place of detention are unknown yet.

It was mentioned that the Syrian security forces arrested number of medical and relief cadres working within Yarmouk, while many of them were killed due to torture in the prisons. As well as, hospitals of the camp; such as Al Basil, Palestine, and Fayez Halawa were targeted, and a number of paramedic and medical cadres died, in addition to the destruction of buildings and medical equipment.
