Palestinian Refugee Earns BA in Programming in Germany

Palestinian youth Mahmoud Fakhri AlAsadi received a Bachelor degree in programming from the Faculty of Information at the University of Stuttgart, Germany.

Sometime earlier, he earned the American International Certificate in Project Management (IMPA), and worked in several multinational companies.

He took part in several projects, including the Makkah Clock Tower, Mercedes and Porsche car companies. Recently, he obtained a consultant degree for the global company SAP.

Dozens of displaced Palestinian refugees have achieved success stories, despite of the traumatic upshots wrought by daily scenes of bloodshed and destruction across the embattled Syrian territories. Thousands of children have gone orphaned after they lost one or both of their parents in the deadly warfare.

The conflict in Syria has had traumatic fallouts on Palestinian refugees in and outside of Syria. Post-traumatic stress disorders, mental psychosis, sleeplessness and nightmares, eating disorders, and intense fear have all been reported among Palestinian refugees from Syria.
