AGPS has documented the death of 17 Palestinian refugees as a result of armed shootouts in war-torn Syria in 2020.
Sometime earlier, AGPS said a total of 42 Palestinians died in 2020, including five refugees who drowned at sea. The list also includes four Palestinians who breathed their last on way to Greece. Another refugee died in 2018 but was identified two years later.
At the same time, 12 Palestinians died under torture in Syrian prisons in 2020 another eight refugees were extra-judicially executed or assassinated.
