AGPS report documenting the situation of Palestinians of Syria in 2020 has recorded the death of 42 Palestinian refugees in 2020.
The list includes five refugees who drowned at sea, four among whom as they tried to reach Greece. Another refugee died in 2018 but was only identified two years later.
Another 17 refugees died in bloody shootouts and 12 as a result of torture and medical neglect. Three other victims were extra-judicially executed or assassinated.
AGPS data indicates that 4,048 Palestinian refugees in/from Syria have died of war-related incidents since the outbreak of the conflict in March 2011.
