Activists have accused popular Palestinian committees in Lebanon of inflaming political pisions and defaming Palestinian activists from Syria who have been speaking up for their inalienable rights.
Speaking with AGPS on conditions of anonymity, an activist said the chief of the popular Palestinian committees is involved in conspiracies aiming to pide the Palestinians.
In a statement issued On April 25, the popular Palestinian committees in Lebanon lashed out at Palestinians from Syria involved in human rights activism in Lebanon, saying the vigils called for by the association of displaced persons outside of UNRWA office in Beirut have not ties whatsoever to the Palestine Liberation Organization.
