UNRWA in Syria said 89.9% of the 4,535 students registered with the Agency in Syria passed their exams while other schools in the war-torn country got a success rate of 76.23%.
UNRWA’s Director of Syria Operations Michael Amanya congratulated the students for their outstanding academic results which are signs of perseverance and iron will despite the challenges posed by the 11-year conflict and the novel coronavirus.
