Palestinian Expatriates Support Palestinians in War-Torn Syria

Palestinian refugees living and/or working in the diaspora continue to provide humanitarian assistance to Palestinians sheltered in war-ravaged Syria.

Recently, a number of Palestinian refugees abroad raised funds to help provide meat to residents of AlNeirab Camp, in Aleppo.

At the same time, a Palestinian expatriate, who refused to reveal his name, paid the debts of a number of Palestinian families sheltered in Jaramana Camp.

The donor paid a sum of money to contribute to the medical treatment of a quadriplegic women. He also bought medicines for a cancer-stricken patient.

Over 80% of PRS live in extreme poverty and rely on humanitarian assistance as their main source of income. 86% of PRS households are reported to be in debt.
