Representatives of Palestinian refugees from Syria in Lebanon met with the head of the Red Cross’s Beirut department of missing and forcibly-disappeared persons along with the head of the protection department.
The meeting tackled the situation of Palestinians of Syria in Lebanon along with the forcibly-disappeared Palestinians in Syria.
The delegations also underscored the needs of patients with chronic diseases and the Red Cross’s follow-ups in this regard.
The Red Cross pledged to keep tabs on the file of victims of enforced disappearance and amputees in Syria. It also took charge of two Palestinian refugees who were wounded in Syria shootouts and pledged to reach out to embassies in order to grant them urgent medical treatment.
