The AGPS monitoring and documentation team confirmed that it documented the death of 65 victims during last April 2015, while 89 refugees died in the same month on 2014 due to the ongoing conflict in Syria.
The AGPS noted that the 65 victims who died in 2015 were distributed to the Syrian cities as following:
30 victims in Damascus, 7 victims in Damascus suburb, 12 victims in Swaidaa, 1 victim in Aleppo, 2 victims in Daraa, 1 victim in Latakia, and 12 victims in different areas in Syria.
Meanwhile, the 89 victims who died on April 2014 included 60 victims in Damascus and its suburb, 3 victims in Daraa, 10 victims in Aleppo and Nairab camp, 6 victims in Homs, and 1 victim in Latakia.
Furthermore, 36 Palestinian refugees died due to direct shelling that targeted their camps and compounds in Syria during last April, especially Yarmouk where 30 refugees died, 3 refugees died in Khan Al Shieh camp, 1 refugee died in Al Raml Camp-Latakia, and two refugees died in Daraa Camp.
