Syrian Security Services still Arrest Hundreds of Palestinian Children, Women, and Elderly People

The Syrian security services continue detaining more than 877 Palestinian refugees in its jails, including children, women, elderly people, brothers,  fathers,  sons,  and entire families, while hundreds of them died due to  torture.

Among these Palestinian refugees, the Palestinian child, "Mustafa Ali Ayoub," 15 years, is detained since 10.5.2012 after a raid on his home at Al Tadamun neighborhood adjacent to the Yarmouk camp.  A released detainee informed his family, after six months of detention, that he is in a Syrian security branch, and since then there have been no news about him.

Syrian security also continues detaining the Palestinian refugee, "Mohammed Mustafa al-Kilani,"65 years, who was arrested by the Syrian regime forces from the Mezze district in Damascus on 08.01.2014.

It was mentioned that the AGPS documented the arrest of 877 Palestinian refugees who are in the prisons of the Syrian regime, including 36 Palestinian refugee women, their fate is unknown yet. In addition, it also documented the death of 394 Palestinian refugees due to torture, while most of their bodies were not delivered to their families.
