Representatives of the Fuel Company seized vehicles tasked with distributing heating oil to citizens’ homes.
The fuel company said in a statement that it had seized licensed oil distribution cars in Rif Dimashq which forced civilians to show up at distribution points to receive their allowances, overburdening the cash-strapped families.
Following complaints filed by the residents, the company issued penalties against the drivers who have refused to deliver fuel supplies to addresses indicated on smart cards.
