Syrian President Bashar al-Assad issued an administrative order to end the retention and recall of reserve officers, non-commissioned officers and reserve personnel, as of the beginning of 2022.
The decision to terminate the retention and summons of reserve officers included the description of officers and reserve personnel, according to the following:
A – Officers (retained and enrolled in the reserve service whose actual reserve service reached two years or more until the date of December 31, 2021 AD inclusive).
B- Human doctors who specialize in the management of medical services and whose actual reserve service reached two years or more until the date of December 31, 2021 AD inclusive, are dismissed according to the possibility of dispensing with their services.
The retention and recall of non-commissioned officers and reserve personnel shall be terminated as of 1/1/2022 according to the following:
Non-commissioned officers and inpiduals (retained and enrolled in the reserve service) whose actual reserve service has reached no less than /6/ years and a half until the date of December 31, 2021 AD inclusive.
