Residency, Searching a Job, then Education are the most Prominent Crises Faced by Palestinian Refugees in Lebanon

Thousands of Palestinian Syrians refugees who have fled to Lebanon are complaining of complex living crises, namely, the legal status which manifested in not being able to get a residence inside Lebanon, followed by the difficulty of securing jobs, where the work is legally prohibited on refugees, and if one of them was able to get a job in an irregular manner, his wage would be very low and not enough to cover the expenses of life in Lebanon.

Palestinian youth are also suffering from great difficulties in trying to get the chance to complete university studies in Lebanon because of the high cost of education in Lebanon, especially in light of the high rate of unemployment and the daily expenses of the Palestinian families in Lebanon.

It is worth mentioning that more than 51,000 Palestinian Syrian refugees have fled to Lebanon, according to the UNRWA statistics.
