Palestinian refugees shelter in Nawa city, south of Syria, have been facing serious security concerns.
A few days earlier, the Syrian regime forces struck residential neighborhoods, resulting in deaths and injuries. Local shops and markets have shut their doors following threats of military escalation in the area.
“We’ve been going through nightmarish times”, a Palestinian refugee taking shelter in Nawa told AGPS. “We are prey to homelessness, detention, and displacement”.
Some 350 Palestinian refugees are currently living in Nawa after they were displaced several times from their houses and shelters.
