The municipality council in Deraa city, south of Syria, called on Palestinian refugees from Gaza and Palestinians with Jordanian travel documents sheltered in Deraa to register their names and personal information to receive bread at subsidized prices.
The move comes following calls to include Palestinians on the list of beneficiaries of subsidized bread through the smart card.
The municipality council stressed the need for concerned refugees to present a family statement among other official documents. Palestinians without smart cards should show up at the office of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command in AlKashef neighborhood, in Deraa, to register their names.
