2,000 Families Return to Yarmouk Camp

2,000 families have returned to Yarmouk Camp for Palestinian refugees, south of Damascus, over recent months, according to Damascus Governorate.

The Governorate said 4,000 entry permits were issued to families wishing to return to the camp and retrieve their property.

The data was released during a meeting between Damascus Governor Adel AlAleibi and Secretary-General of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command (PFLP-GC) at the former’s office in Damascus.

The two parties discussed underway efforts to facilitate families’ return to their houses in Yarmouk and bring life back to normal in the camp.
