Coinciding with the visit of the Director General of UNRWA in Lebanon, Mr. Matthias Schmale to the refugee camps of Nahr Al Bared and Beddawi, dozens of displaced Palestinians of Syria in Lebanon organized a sit-in in front of Ramla School in Beddawi camp in Tripoli.
The refugees denounced the recent actions taken by UNRWA, which stated cut off aid and shelter allowance for the Palestinian Syrian families, rather than, the protestors demanded UNRWA director to withdraw those arbitrary decisions that reflected negatively on their living conditions.
