The Syrian regime has reportedly given greenlight for signing rental contracts for residential and commercial structures in Yarmouk Camp as part of efforts to rehabilitate the camp and bring life back to normal.
At the same time, the Syrian Education Ministry Darem Tabaa’ has given instructions for the reconstruction of a government-run school in Yarmouk Camp.
This came in a meeting with a Palestinian political delegation.
Recently, Syrian authorities have reportedly granted 4,200 permits to families wishing to return to Yarmouk Camp, south of Damascus, and retrieve their property in two months. 1,800 reconstruction permits have also been issued.
