20-year-old Palestinian girl Alaa Fudeil, raised in Khan Dannun refugee camp, in Rif Dimashq, won the first place in Syrian Universities Central Table Tennis Championship, which was held between February 24-27 at Al-Baath University in Homs. 35 students took part in the championship.
Hundreds of displaced Palestinian refugees in/from Syria have achieved success stories, despite the traumatic upshots wrought by the daily scenes of bloodshed and destruction across the embattled Syrian territories.
