Family Appeals for Information over Forcibly-Disappeared Palestinian Refugee in Syria

The family of Palestinian refugee Haithem Ismail AlLamadani, born in 1968 in Damascus, has launched appeals for information about the latter’s condition and whereabouts.

Haithem disappeared some 10 years ago from AlMaliha area. He was reportedly kidnapped by a so-called “Ammar Bin Yasser” militia, affiliated with Jaysh Alslam, a coalition of Syrian opposition groups.

His 1997 Hyundai Accent car with license plate number 141004 was also seized. His wife and son were held captive for hours.

AGPS has documented the secret detention of over 1,800 Palestinian refugees in war-torn Syria, among them 37 refugees held captive by the opposition forces.

AGPS has also documented the death of over 600 Palestinian refugees under torture in Syrian government lock-ups, including women, children, and elderly civilians.
