The Palestine Ambassador in Damascus Dr. Samir AlRefa’i paid a visit on Monday, April 11, to Bisan Clinic in AlAyedeen Camp for Palestinian refugees, in Hums.
The visit aims to inspect the residents’ access to healthcare services in the area.
The clinic director-general, Dr. Mahmoud Shanati, briefed the ambassador on the difficulties and challenges confronted by medics and patients at the facility.
Palestinians taking shelter in AlAyedeen Camp in Hums have been facing a deteriorating humanitarian situation as a result of the price leap, sharp shortage in fuel supplies, the frequent power blackouts, and absence of humanitarian assistance. High rates of unemployment and the security turmoil rocking the region have made the situation far more alarming.
