The Folket i Bild magazine in Stockholm chose a caricature by Palestinian refugee from Syria Ahmad Kadoura to figure on its front page.
The caricature embodies Palestinians’ commitment to their land and houses, including in Jerusalem’s Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, which has been threatened with Israeli evacuation and ethnic cleansing plans.
Ahmad Kadura, raised in AlNeirab Camp for Palestinian refugees, in the northern Syrian province of Aleppo, arrived in Sweden in 2015 fleeing war and economic hardship.
Qaddura held his first gallery in Sheirkh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem. He also displayed his works in Turkey, Qatar, Lebanon, and Sweden.
