Palestinian-Syrian film maker Muhammad Khamis won the best film maker award in the Mindfield Film Festival, held in the US state of New Mexico on August 9, 2022, for his short documentary film entitled “Three Stories from Gaza”.
The film covers the events of the war that took place in Gaza in 2012 and the death of the heroes Reham and Nader.
Speaking with AGPS, Mohammed said his film was selected among 12 documentaries, including 10 films by European directors and two films by Arab directors from Palestine and Lebanon.
He added that his film will be displayed in Los Angeles on September 13, and was nominated among the best awards at Los Angeles Film Awards (LAFA).
