Member of the Executive Office at Damascus Governorate, Kays Ramadan, told the pro-regime SHAM FM radio station that a technical study is being conducted to rehabilitate the power network in Yarmouk Camp for Palestinian refugees, south of Damascus.
Ramadan said the power crisis is very complicated and large sums of money are needed to fix it.
He added that efforts have been underway to rehabilitate the sewerage and water networks.
Last week, Damascus Governor, Mohamed Tarek Kreishati, said efforts have been ongoing to bring life back to normal in the ravaged Yarmouk Camp, in cooperation with CSOs and concerned government bodies.
