New Passport Procedures Announced by Palestine Embassy in Damascus

The Palestine Embassy in Damascus called on Palestinian refugees who applied for passport issuance or renewal to show up at the embassy’s office in AlSalhiya.

Embassy staff will take the applicants’ signatures and fingerprints along with their identity documents.

The deadline is March 01, 2023.

Last year, the Syrian and Palestinian passports were ranked by Henley Passport as the weakest passports during the first quarter of 2022.

The Palestinian passport is ranked 105th globally. Palestinians without visas are only allowed to enter 35 countries, including Sri Lanka, Dominica, Singapore, and the Seychelles. Holders of Palestinian passports should receive a visa to enter 194 countries.
