Aleppo – Action Group
The reporter for the Action Group for Palestinians in Syria reported that Syrian opposition factions, after storming the Military Security headquarters in the Nairab Palestinian refugee camp in Aleppo, found malicious security documents and reports written by informants and collaborators with the Syrian security services among some camp residents.
Indicating that one of the malicious security reports that reached the Action Group from private sources was written by the Palestinian refugee (M. A), from the camp, and that those who submitted the report to the Military Security branch are (A. A) and (A. K) from the camp's residents who are informants for the Syrian security agencies.
Noting that the report includes a recommendation to refer the file to the relevant security authorities to investigate and handle the case according to legal procedures.
To that end, the action group was unable to obtain additional details regarding the nature of the report or the exact reasons behind its issuance.
Our reporter reported that another document reached the "Action Group" containing a list of names of several residents of the Nairab camp who were working as informants and collaborators with the Military Security Branch. The group refrains from disclosing their names for security reasons and to ensure the safety of their families.
It is worth noting that the phenomenon of writing (malicious) reports against young people and women has spread significantly in Syria and its Palestinian camps, especially in the Nairab camp, which was under the control of the Quds Brigade. This is done with the aim of retaliating against the inpiduals targeted in these reports and exposing them to arrest by the Syrian security forces.
While those reports consistently include charges of terrorism and incitement against the Syrian state, in addition to fabricating dozens of unrealistic accusations against young civilians, former members of opposition factions, or even against the elderly and women.
