Clashes and Bombing at the Surrounding Areas of Khan Al Shieh Camp

Heavy shelling, targeted the adjacent areas and farms of Khan Al Shieh camp on Tuesday night, coincided with clashes between the Syrian armed opposition forces, and the regime forces backed by the civil Committees at all conflict axes near the camp, triggering panic and tension among residents for fear of being  bombed.

Large displacements towards Zakia town at Alderkhbayh town and homes scattered in the vicinity of Khan Zakya territory adjacent to Khan Al Shieh camp, to escape the indiscriminate shelling that targeted the region and the sniper who targeted the Alderkhbayh checkpoint.

Residents of Khan AL Shieh camp complain of serious humanitarian crises as a result of the military confrontations escalation between the free army groups and the regular army in the surrounding areas, making it in the middle of bloody overheating conflict in Syria, which had a negative impact on the population in terms of the continued closure of all roads inking between the camp and adjacent regions except Zakia– Khan Al Shieh road.

People are forced to go through the only way despite the risks they face following clashes between the regular army and groups of free army between now and then.

Meanwhile, closing the only road linking to the camp by the regular army and tightening their security procedures has affected negatively on the availability of the necessary food supplies in the camp, where any varieties of food supplies were lost and prices of other species were increased.
