Palestinians of Syria Sit-in in Tire City against Cuts of UNRWA Services

In light of escalating their protests against the UNRWA decisions to reduce the financial aids to the Palestinian refugees, dozens of camps' residents of the Palestinians of Syria in Lebanon carried out a protest in front of the office of UNRWA's Head at Tire city south of Lebanon.

The protestors condemned the latest decisions of UNRWA that provides to cut the Shelter allowance aid, as they also called the Palestinian factions, the PLO, and the Human rights organizations to immediately move in order to put pressure on UNRWA to stop those decisions.

It is mentioned that the Palestinians of Syria and the Palestinian Local and Popular committees delivered a protest memo to the Head of UNRWA demanding to look back and to back down the UNRWA's decisions which will negatively impact the humanitarian and living situation of the displaced Palestinians of Syria in Lebanon.
