The United States Government has donated 13 million $ to UNRWA's response to the Syrian crisis; an amount of 9.1 million will be allocated, according to UNRWA, for supporting humanitarian agency's operations inside Syria, and 3.9 million $of this donation to support the humanitarian needs of Palestinian Syria refugees displaced to Lebanon and Jordan.
Meanwhile, Kuwait has donated this month with 15 million$ to the Agency in order to the work provided to Palestinian refugees.
Financial and humanitarian aid provided by UNRWA is the only source of income for thousands of Palestinian Syrian refugees, however, the agency cut the bulk of financial assistance provided to Palestinian Syrian refugees in Lebanon, which brought them a dire living suffering, as well as security prosecutions for residencies renewal, and prevent them from working .
