Dozens of Palestinian and Syrian refugees were victims of the human traffickers’ greed at Mersin City in Turkey.
The residents said to the AGPS correspondent that they were victims to one of the smugglers,where he got huge money amounts to reach them to the Italian shores, which was not done by the smuggler and to reach them to Italy but he returned them to the Turkish coast after spending three days in the trip.
A refugee said,” the boat was launched from an area called Kara Dovar at Mersin; the boat contained 50 Palestinians and Syrians including women and children.
The smuggler Abu Mohammed rounded in the boat for three days before returning back to Yani Shaher coast, pretending that they reached Italy.
It is mentioned that the human trafficking phenomena abused the Palestinian and Syrian refugees who escaped the war in Syria, where it is increased in the last period, while tens of similar cases of theft and scam were documented.
