The AGPS received a copy of a decision issued by the Turkish Refugee Protection Authority of the Immigration Department in the Turkish Ministry of Interior. The decision states equality of Palestinian Syrian refugee with Syrian Refugee regarding obtaining asylum cards within the foreigners and low temporary protection, allowing Palestinian Syrian refugees in Turkey to take advantage of all services offered by the Turkish government to the Syrian refugees in Turkey such as medical services and other.

The decision noted that "a small number of Palestinian Syrian refugees; approximately 351 refugees who introduced themselves as Palestinian Syrians or stateless to the Department of protection, while the number is expected to be much larger. The decision adds that "after hesitating how the Refugee Protection Authority to treat Palestinian refugees from Syria, it was agreed that the Palestinian refugees from Syria are to be treated similar as Syrian refugees."

However, the decision did not address any point relating to allow Palestinian Syrian refugees in Turkey, where the Turkish government imposes a visa to Palestinian refugees from Syria.
