Jaundice and Typhoid Threaten the Lives of the Yarmouk Besieged Residents

ِِActivists inside the Yarmouk camp for Palestinian refugees in Damascus insured the spread of Typhoid and Jaundice inside the besieged camp especially amongst children.

It is referred that the danger of these diseases reach death if they hadn’t get treatment and suitable nutrition, the disease increased due to the siege of PFGC and Regular army to the camp, which led to the stop of all hospitals and clinics inside the camp in addition to the stop of most relief organizations inside the camp due to ISIS threats.

It is noted that ISIS controlled the camp in the beginning of April 2015 in coordination and support of Al Nusra Front. It is referred that activists inside the camp appealed earlier the international and human rights organizations, namely ICRC and SRCS to enter medicine for patients of Jaundice and Typhoid to the besieged camp.
