Syrian Security Forces Arrest Three Palestinian Sisters with their Children, and Female Refugee in her Sixties while Trying to Travel

The AGPS received certain news that the Syrian Security arrested three Palestinian sisters with their children and a female refugee in her sixties from Al Aedein camp in Homs while travelling towards Al Zurba village close to Turkish territory. They were arrested by members of a checkpoint after Hama city; they are:

  • The Palestinian refugee "Maysa Hassan Khayal," in her thirties, and her two children
  • The Palestinian refugee "Israa Hassan Khayal," in her thirties, and her child
  • The Palestinian refugee "Tasnim Hassan Khayal," at the beginning of her thirties
  • The three sisters are originally from Tirat Haifa in Palestine.
  • The Palestinian female elderly "Safeia Mohammed Qasim," in her sixties and originally from Al Nasera city in Palestine

The total number of Palestinian detainees from Al Aedein camp is (170) detainees, according to the AGPS statistics.

It is referred that the Syrian security services tighten the procedures on Palestinian refugees heading to the Syrian opposition control areas in the north of the country in order to travel to Turkey.
