A Palestinian family in a Prison at the Turkish city of Antakya Appeals Concerned for their release

A Palestinian Syrian family has appealed humanitarian organizations and the Palestinian and the Swedish Embassy, ​​in order to release them from a prison in the Turkish city of Antakya, while activists reported that the family consists of 4 members:

Father Suleiman Omar Hamid, his wife Amani Lotfi Attia, and their children Rinad and Omar; the family had been arrested during transit the Turkish territory illegally, to gain access to the Swedish embassy for an interview in order to reunion with their daughter in Sweden.

The father Suleiman said in a voice message by phone that they are "imprisoned in tragic and difficult conditions in underground prison, where there is no place to sit because of the large number of prisoners and bad bathrooms, food, and drink."

Mr. Suleiman said that, " his child is suffering from an illness in his eyes and in need of urgent surgery, while his wife in a state of constant fainting, and one understands us.

As a result, I went on a hunger strike for seven days and they took me to the hospital, but with little result, and they threw me in jail again.

After that tragic situation, Mr. Suleiman demanded to return to Syria under bombs and missiles it is more merciful than the prison.

At the end of the appeal, the Palestinian family demanded all concerned to intervene for their release from detention. It is noteworthy that Palestinians of Syria Committee in Turkey met with Antioch director of security, but the latter reported that it has become in Ankara.
