The AGPS Documents 943 Palestinian Detainees and 411 Victims Died due to Torture in the Prisons of the Syrian Regime

The AGPS documented 943 Palestinian prisoners in Syrian jails since the start of war events, where highest percentage of Palestinian prisoners was recorded in Damascus within the Syrian governorates and reached 363 detainees, 195 detainees in Homs province, in Aleppo 116, Latakia 81, Hama 51, Daraa 46, and 93 unknown detainees.

Meanwhile, the highest percentage of Palestinian prisoners among the Palestinian camps was recorded in Alaedein camp in Homs, as the numbers close to 174, in the Yarmouk refugee camp 125 detainees, in Khan Al Shieh camp 95 detainees, including a child, a woman, elderly, brothers, fathers, sons, and entire families, while they faced all kinds such as, Shabeh, electric shock, rape, beatings, and killings.

Moreover, the AGPS documented 411 victims died under torture in the prisons of the Syrian regime, at a time where hundreds of Palestinian detainees still unaccounted for.
