The Palestinian Refugees still live in Tents at Cyprus for the 4th month respectively.

For the fourth day respectively, the suffering of the Palestinian refugees from Syria is increasing in the refugees’ tents far from the Nicosia the capital.The camp, which includes 345 Palestinian Syrian Refugees, lacks the minimum basic necessities of life, according to a refugee testimony.In the midnight of 26th of September 2014, the Cypriot navy pulled the refugees’ boat to Cyprus to fingerprint there while they were heading to Italy.They were put in a refugees camp and the Cypriot authorities secured the food and water to them in the camp and gave them a period of time to proceed the procedures and to close the camp and give up their responsibility but under the pressure of the European Union and a number of international organizations the refugees were not out of the camp.

The refugees include 70 children ”from 10 years to 18 years” without their families, 15 old people, and a number of patients, who are having cancer, Polio, female diseases and pregnant.The number of Palestinian refugees from Syria is 240 refugees, including 25 refugees without travel documents or any documents.It is mentioned that Cyprus is not amongst the countries that the refugees seek to migrate to and the refugees refused to sign the immigration applications to live with their families in the European immigration countries.

Hatem Dawabsha, the Head of the Palestinian Students League in Cyprus, accused the Palestinian Embassy of default, in an interview with Al Balad Radio.Mr.Hatem added that the efforts of the embassy don’t meet the requirements where he accused the smugglers mafia of killing one of the refugees where his body was found killed in the street and accused them of terrorizing and threatening the refugees.He also demanded the Palestinian officials to move quickly to rescue the Palestinian Refugees of their suffering.

Mr.Jamal Al Fakhory, A Member of the Administration Commission of the Palestinian Communities and Organization in Europe, sent, through an interview at Al Balad Radio, an appeal on behalf of the Palestinian Refugees to the world to look at the suffering of the refugees and to move to lift their suffering and support them.It is mentioned that the refugees in Cyprus have performed several protests in front of the international organizations and the Cypriot Parliament but no one responded to their demands, according to one of the protestors.
