After 46 Days of Siege, Syrian Regime Allowed Flour and Food Entry to the Town of Qudsaya

Media sources close to the Syrian regime said that reconciliation was reached in the town of Qudsaya in Damascus suburb between people of the town and the competent authorities in the Syrian authority, where it was agreed to end the armed manifestations and the return of safety and security to the region.

Accordingly, small amounts of flour, vegetables, and gas entered to the town, pending the road to be open and the life to return to normal later.

It should be noted that the town of Qudsaya inhabited with approximately 6,000 Palestinian families displaced from the Palestinian refugee camps, most of them from Yarmouk, while the regular army has imposed a siege on the region on 23 July, because of the kidnapping of one of its members by groups of the armed opposition.
