The activist "Ibrahim Abu-Kharej" from Yarmouk camp announced an open hunger strike in protest against the continued detention by the Malaysian troops for the eighth day respectively in the Kuala Lumpur airport prison, and prevented him from entering the Malaysian territory after he left, trying to resort to Europe before the Cambodian police arrest him and send him to Malaysia.
Mr. Abu Kharej renewed his appeal to human rights organizations and the International Red Cross for urgent and immediate action to release him and end his suffering and allow him to complete his way to Europe.
