Clashes at Yarmouk and Residents Launch a Campaign Demanding the Right to Return to Palestine

Violent clashes broke out at Yarmouk on Wednesday night between Palestinian armed groups and ISIS alongside Al-Nusra Front, where it focused in the court area, Rijayard, Ain Ghazal Street, and the Yarmouk high school area, without any significant progress for both parties.

In terms of living aspect, the remained residents are suffering of tragic living situations as a result of lack of food, in addition to water and power te continued cuts throughout the camp for more than two years.

Under the title "I am a refugee and I have the right to return to my national Palestine," residents of the besieged Yarmouk refugee camp organized campaign to demand their return to Palestine. In turn, bodies and institutions operating in the camp demanded all Palestinian refugees in Syria to carry out similar events in order to pressure the United Nations and the Arab countries in order to open a safe way for them to ensure their return to the soil of Palestine.
