In Damascus Suburb, UNRWA started to distribute the food aid to the residents of Khan Danoun in Damascus Suburb, where the residents complain of a clear relief vacuum with the difficult economic situations they live. The Relief vacuum is due to the unavailability of charity organizations or the local committees inside the camp due to the security retractions by the Regime forces and the arrest campaigns that affected a lot of relief activists in the camp, which prompted the committees to close their doors to save their souls. The camps residents are still considered the poorest amongst the other Palestinian camps in Syria and they depend on the financial and relief aid that is presented by the UNRWA once in a while.
