In the First Day of Eid al-Adha, Residents of Yarmouk and Khan Al Shieh Chant for Al-Aqsa and Demand to Lift the Yarmouk Siege

In the first day of Eid al-Adha, hundreds of Yarmouk and Khan Al Shieh residents came out in marches through the streets of the camps, where they raised the flags of Palestine and demanded to lift the siege of the Yarmouk camp and chanted national slogans.

The residents expressed their solidarity with their people in Jerusalem who have been harassed and attacked by Israeli occupation.

Residents of Yarmouk visited the Martyrs' Cemetery in the camp, while residents of Khan Al Shieh camp visited the monument of Al Awda march martyrs.

It is noteworthy that marches in the first day of Eid towards the graves of the martyrs is a Palestinian national tradition, which all Palestinian refugees still recalling in order to console the souls of martyrs and to their loved ones, knowing that the tombs of martyrs in the Yarmouk refugee camp includes a number of leaders and cadres of the Palestinian factions.
