Aggravated Living Crises at Daraa Camp

The remained residents of Daraa camp are suffering of dire living situation, as they were prevented from water owning to the siege imposed by the Syrian regular army forces for 537 days respectively.

Residents have resorted to well water after purchase of tanks, which led to the spread of gastrointestinal and skin diseases because of water pollution, coincided with power outages for long periods, up to 20 hours a day.

This comes amid absence of public utilities and service-and relief team work, which resulted in the spread of rodents dramatically in most of the abandoned and destroyed houses, as well as the stoppage of UNRWA work at the camp and medical centers, which are closed for the second year because of being bombed.

Residents of the camp are complaining of depriving them of food, health care, and financial assistance provided by UNRWA.
