Palestinian of Syria committee in Lebanon distributed 228 school bags and a number of stationery bags on Palestinian Syrian students in camps and compounds of Tyre city, the distribution included the following:
In Al- Burj Al- Shamali camp, 88 bags were distributed in Palestine and Jabaliya schools on some poor families as well as Rachidia camp where 50 school bags and distributed in Al-Aqsa secondary school, Ain Al- Asal school, and Al- Naqab school in addition to Al- Bass camp where 45 school bags were distributed on Deir Yasseen secondary school and Al- Shajarah school as well as Al- Ma'ashhoq area. After visiting churches compound, the committee distributed 40 school bags on all Palestinian Syrian students who are studying the Syrian curriculum in order to attend the exams of elementary and secondary school exams in Syria this year.
It is worth mentioning that the number of Palestinian students in Tyre city is about 1,100 students according to UNRWA statistics distributed in the schools of Tyre city, while the total number of Palestinian Syrian refugees in Lebanon is about 45,000 refugees.
