Warnings of RABIES Disease Spread after a Child Died in the Yarmouk Camp

Medical cadres in the Yarmouk camp warned of rabies spread following the child, 'Nidal Murad,' died two days ago after being bite by a diseased dog.

They called the need to take precautions from dogs through vaccination, and to avoid or terminate the contagious animal, since a number of dogs became infected-bearing viruses in the besieged camp, and feed on dead bodies in several neighborhoods of Al Hajar Al Aswad and the camp.

The remaining people of the Yarmouk camp in Damascus, who estimated with 3000-5000 civilians, are suffering of acute shortage of medical services, because of the continued siege imposed by the regular army and PFGC groups, which prevents whereby the introduction of medicines needed to fight diseases and epidemics only a few and rarely, while the number of siege victims has reached 184 victims died due to starvation and lack of medical care.
