Immediate Military Recruitment for Youth in Syria has Risen the Concerns of Palestinians of Syria

Palestinians of Syria youth live a state of extreme tension, following the news of a presidential decree by the Syrian regime states the immediate military recruitment for any youth or man born in 1973 and until 1998.

According to media websites close to the regime, the Syrian Arab army units, Special Forces, and concerned authorities all over Syria began rounds in the streets and roads of the cities in order to check any youth or man obliged to the military service and transferred to the concerned authorities to be assigned to military service."

Another websites reported arrests of university students from the streets of Damascus, some of whom are not obliged to military service because they are classified as a single or otherwise.

Some of them were taken to the military police in Kaboun neighborhood to be allocated or to make sure of their military status, while others were forced to move sand mounds on military fronts."

It is worth mentioning that the Palestinian Syrian refugee is obliged to perform the PLA military service, which is part of the Syrian regular army; participated in many battles of the Syrian regime especially in Damascus suburb.
