First Aid Training Course for the Displaced Palestinian Syrian Women in Lebanon

In cooperation with Al- Shifa’a Commission, Women Committee in the Palestinians of Syria Committee in Lebanon held a First Aids training course.

The course continued for two days in which a number of female Palestinian refugees displaced from Syria to Lebanon in Al- Beqaa area participated in it. The main aim of this course is to benefit from the mechanism of first aid in facing what could happen in the home or the surrounding areas.

The course included lessons about the principles of first aid; choking, and shortness of breath, wounds, and fractures as well as practical lessons about injections and vaccines.

 It is noteworthy that the Syrian Palestinian Committee of Syria in Lebanon participated on 17 October, 2017, in a similar course in first aid. At the end of the session, one of the members of the Syrian Palestinian Committee in in Lebanon who participants in the session was adopted as a driver for a Al- Shifa’a medical institution’s ambulance located in the Barelias emergency point in the east Beqaa.
