Residents of Nairab Camp Complain of the Continuous Power Cut for More than a Month

In Aleppo, residents of Nairab camp in Aleppo complain from the continued power outages for more than a month, as a result of the ongoing conflict in the thermal station and Zorba area between the Syrian army and armed opposition groups.

The conflict forced a lot of people to participate private generators for lighting their homes and their shops, which increased their burdens and added new costs that strained families, as well as rising material prices, unemployment, and weak financial resources in light of the war events in the country.

It is worth mentioning that the camp is witnessing a state of instability and unsafety due to the deteriorating security situation in the surrounding areas, and the involvement of some residents in the fighting alongside the Syrian army which made him vulnerable to shelling which led to a number of victims and injuries.
